Ballerina created in Photoshop. The Stock Image was from David Hoffman. I wanted to create a romantic mood to show the elegance of the Dance Genre. The first step to this image was to turn the model black and white. I then added a hue/saturation adjustment layer and created the purple colours. I used some water colour ink splatter overlays and changed the blend mode to soft light over parts of the model. The green swirl on the dress was an eclipse that I used the swirl filter and then blended it on as an overlay. I took a png of glitter and used it on the top of the dress just lowering the opacity and masking it on. I used the same glitter image for the bottom of the dress but enlarged it and changed the blend mode to soft light and masked it onto the dress. To finish the image off I used some different water colour ink splatters for the background and used the difference blending mode as it matched the colours of the model perfectly.
