Selfie

This is me, a selfie on an old phone due to dropping my previous one. The image itself is not a good quality image but I wanted to give it some TLC. Firstly I brightened and sharpened the eyes up a bit and added some eye lashes. I then added to my eyeliner that I was wearing. I added eye shadow (white, blue and a light grey) building it up to look real. I added some contouring using the eye dropper on my own skin tones. I darkened my lips up using the same as my lip tone but changed the layer to multiply. I used the stamp tool to give my eye brows a bit of a neater shape. The last thing was the most difficult, my hair. I used a hue and saturation adjustment layer to enhance the colour. Originally my fringe was all over the place. I used the stamp tool to remove the hair without loosing the skin texture. I then thickened the shorter part using a brush I created from a hair image. I used several layers to get all the shades of colour. to get the texture I used the lasso tool on another part of my hair and used a lighten blend mode and masked it on to blend over the painted part.
