Cake Ad

Here I have created a Cake shop Ad using a Photograph of a lovely cake I had in London, It was good! Firstly I brightened the image up and removed the writing that was on the Chocolate. I replaced it with the "Schreck Cakes" (Yes that is a Tim Burton Character). I created a black rectangle and added some texture in the Filter Gallery using the tile effect. I duplicated this layer and blended it with hard light to brighten the grit up. Once I had created the Chalkboard I surrounded the frame with wood. I added the Text using a Mr Grieves Font and Blended it using the Colour Dodge creating the Chalk effect. I added the Facebook logo and repeated the colour dodge. I created the logo in Illustrator by placing an image of Tim Burton and using the Image Trace to make it Black and White and used Colour Dodge to blend it. Lastly I added some Layer Styles to bring Life to the wood and to the cake photograph.
